Corporate Finance Specialist Achieves Double Success

AN AWARD-winning corporate finance specialist has seen an outstanding year recognised with his promotion to director.

Phil WilliamsPhil Williams is a key member of the successful corporate finance team at leading regional accountancy firm, Clive Owen & Co LLP.

The promotion comes after a busy period during which Phil has been involved in several deal successes, which were also recognised when he was crowned as North East Young Dealmaker of the Year at a recent awards ceremony.

In almost ten years of working in corporate finance, Phil has built up an impressive track record of successful deals including company sales, management buy-outs, private equity transactions, finance raising and corporate acquisitions.

He has now firmly established his reputation in the local market.

Phil joined the Clive Owen corporate finance team 18 months ago and has already had a considerable impact. It has been particularly satisfying for everyone at the accountants as Phil originally worked for the firm as a trainee accountant 15 years ago.

Since returning to his roots, Phil has had a big influence on a successful period for the team, working on deals such as the sale of Fyr Fyter UK to the PHS Group; the private equity-backed buy-out of Tekmar and the buy-out of Geka from its German parent.
