Former Trainee Promoted To Assistant Manager

AN EDUCATION specialist at chartered accountants Clive Owen & Co LLP has been promoted to the position of assistant manager.

Kathryn Cosgrove, of Darlington, joined the firm in 2004 as a trainee and qualified as a chartered accountant three years later. Kathryn, who is part of the audit team, has worked with a variety of owner managed businesses and in recent months has begun specialising in the education sector.

The education sector is a key area of growth for Clive Owen & Co LLP, which has offices in Darlington, Durham and York.

Kathryn is part of the team advising and support educational establishments, particularly independent schools needing specialist advice and schools looking to convert to academies.

The firm is always keen to recognise those who demonstrate a willingness to get involved in moving the business forward.
