Free Event Helps Businesses Tackle Payroll Issues

BUSINESSES are being invited to attend an informal free event designed to tackle the headaches and red tape associated with payroll issues. Accountants and business advisers, Clive Owen & Co LLP, is holding a special Payroll Surgery at its offices in Coniscliffe Road, Darlington, on Thursday September 8.

The event is being held to coincide with National Payroll Week which runs from September 5-9 and aims to celebrate and raise the profile of payroll administration within the business world.

Clive Owen & Co’s informal surgery/coffee morning will look at changes to the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) and Real Time Information (RTI) as well as the increases to the National Minimum Wage which take effect in October.

Angela Cammock, Clive Owen & Co’s payroll services manager, will be on hand to talk about payroll issues, answer questions and offer advice about developments in the payroll environment.

“The aim is to take the headache out of payroll issues and give advice on how to handle some of the administrative red tape associated with it,” said Angela.

“The event will be a relaxed way for businesses to access expert advice. They can pop in for a coffee and find out how the changes coming up will affect their businesses and what they can do to prepare for them in advance.”
