Free Seminar Reveals How To Maximise Tax Breaks

INNOVATIVE business owners can discover how to apply for patents and take advantage of tax breaks at two free seminars later this month.

The seminars, run by accountants and business advisers, Clive Owen & Co LLP, will comprise an hour-long presentation outlining details about the patent process relevant to the engineering, manufacturing and software development sectors.

Experts from Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP, one of the UK’s leading firms of patent and trade mark attorneys, will reveal what businesses need to know about applying for a patent during the events, on February 24.

Then tax specialists from Clive Owen will explain about the tax breaks available to businesses.

The seminars will be held at Clive Owen & Co’s Darlington office in Coniscliffe Road. The first, at 10am, is for software development companies, and the second, at 2pm, is for engineering and manufacturing businesses.
