This strategy breakfast was held at Acklam Hall and covered accessing emerging sectors, with particular focus on the potential offshore wind opportunity.
The strategy breakfast, in partnership with Spurr, Business Strategy Consultants, Tilly Bailey and Irvine Law Firm, welcomed Sharon Lane, Managing Director of Tees Components, the award-winning Tees Valley-based heavy engineering company. Through Sharon’s leadership, Tees Components have been a great example of a business responding to emerging sector opportunities via the use of innovation, capital investment and a passion for developing people.
We also welcomed Tony Appleton, Director of Offshore Wind at Burns and McDonnell, the US-based global engineering and construction experts who provided an insight into the Global Offshore Wind Market and how SME’s can benefit from this expanding market.
