Businesses based in the Tees Valley could benefit from significant grant support towards the creation of new apprentice roles.
Tees Valley Combined Authority have announced funding of £1m to launch a fund to deliver more than 100 new apprentice roles across Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.
The funding can cover 100% of the wages costs of an apprentice for 6 months, and then a further 50% of wages costs for the remainder of the apprenticeship, up to a maximum of two years.
