Career History
I started my career in tax in 2010 in a local independent firm which was later acquired by a national practice. I spent 15 years in the tax team working from trainee to manager until joining the Clive Owen tax team in 2026.

Experience and Expertise
I have worked across both Corporate Tax compliance and Private Client Tax compliance throughout my career, giving me a balanced understanding of the needs of individuals and businesses. I now focus solely on Private Client tax compliance and advisory work, which is where my interests naturally lie. My main areas of interest are tax residency and, more recently, Inheritance Tax.

Career Highlights
Some of the most rewarding parts of my career have been the relationships I’ve built with clients. I’ve always enjoyed getting to know people, understanding their situations, and working with them to find practical solutions to their tax challenges. I’ve also been fortunate to work alongside colleagues with a wealth of experience, and learning from them has played a big part in shaping the way I work today
Did you always want to be an accountant?
Yes and no! I always enjoyed maths at school and originally thought I would go into accountancy. Then, like many people, I had a phase where I wasn’t quite sure what direction I wanted to take. I soon realised that the world of accountancy was where I wanted to be, started my first role in tax, and never looked back.
Hobbies and Interests
I have three children who take up most of my time, but I love being part of their busy world and watching them grow. Every Sunday morning you will find me in the freezing cold on the sidelines of my sons football matches! (I wouldn’t have it any other way though!) I am a regular at my local gym and also enjoy going to the theatre. My husband and I also really enjoy seeing comedians together whenever we get the chance.
