Richmond Fire Engineers LTD

Richmond Fire Engineers design, install and maintain automatic sprinkler systems throughout the UK.

We have been using Kevin Shotton and the team at Clive Owen LLP for over five years now and would not consider using any other accounting firm.

As well as helping with our quarterly and year end accounts, Clive Owen LLP are always at the end of the phone to offer help with our business queries.

Kevin and the team supported our recent management buyout (MBO) which made sure this challenging  process ran very smoothly.

I would recommend Kevin and the team at Clive Owen LLP to anyone who wants an all-round accountancy and business advisory firm to look after them individually and work with them to support their growing business needs.

Ben Richardson and John Lamb from Accedo Group, the parent company of Aldona Seals Ltd and Alpha process controls Ltd.
Accedo group acquired Aldona Seals and Alpha process controls in a management buyout in May 2020 and we supported them with the process. This involved preparing a business plan and projections to secure funding and producing some sensitivity analysis as part of the due diligence process.
They said;
“Clive Owen rose the occasion and helped us out immensely”.
“It’s a difficult process to go into when you’ve never done something like this before. Just having somebody who has experience, who knows the market and who you have to speak to.  The team provided guidance and made themselves available 24/7. It’s been a real help throughout the whole process”.

We have used Clive Owen’s audit services for seven years and would recommend them to any business requiring an audit. Our main point of contact is audit partner Chris Beaumont who heads up a knowledgeable and experienced team so that every year our audit feels like a valuable part of our financial strategy rather than simply a statutory chore. Chris has always been approachable and helpful when we’ve required support on any financial matter pertaining to our accounts and their presentation. They represent top tier knowledge without the top tier bills

Carmel College

We have worked with Clive Owen LLP during the school’s first year of Academy status and have found the company to be a thoroughly professional organisation. As well as undertaking the yearend audit and responsible officer role, they have provided a number of training courses which we have found very useful. Of particular interest was the session on ‘Academy Finance’ where governors gain a better understanding of the issues we may face as an Academy – funding environment, VAT, gift aid, corporation tax and cash flow implications to name but a few.
