Grants Advisory Partner
With more than 12 years’ experience in grants advisory, I help businesses and organisations access grant funding to support growth, investment, innovation and diversification.
I specialise in grant application bid writing, grant appraisal and due diligence, grant audits and independent accountants’ reports, supporting clients throughout the grant funding lifecycle.
I work with businesses of all sizes, from early-stage owner-managed SMEs and growing businesses through to some of the world’s largest organisations. I also work with local and combined authorities, grant scheme delivery bodies, educational institutions, public sector organisations and independent research organisations, including Catapults.

Our grants advisory team provides a full-service offering covering bid writing, appraisal and due diligence, grant audits and independent accountants’ reporting. Bringing these services together within one dedicated team means we can support clients from identifying funding opportunities through to project delivery and grant compliance.
Throughout my career, I have helped clients secure more than £375m in grant funding, delivered 1,000+ grant audits and completed 100+ grant appraisal and due diligence assignments.
My experience includes securing a £20m grant for an automotive sector OEM and more than £50m in grant funding for a UK higher education institution.
I am also an ICAEW Climate Champion, reflecting my interest in supporting businesses and organisations responding to the opportunities and challenges of the transition to a lower-carbon economy.
I am a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and hold a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance from Durham University. I am also a Director of Tees Maritime Cluster Ltd.
