At Clive Own LLP, we offer work experience placements and internships designed to give you a genuine insight into life in accountancy and business advisory, and what a career with us could look like.

Work Experience

Ideal for: School and college students

Typical length: 1–5 days

Our work experience placements are designed to give you a first insight into the profession. During your time with us, you may:

  • Spend time with different teams across the firm
  • See how we support our clients
  • Build confidence in a professional environment
  • Learn more about career pathways in accountancy and business

No prior experience is needed, just curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Apply for a work experience placement

We aim to offer placements throughout the year where possible. As we want each placement to be a valuable and meaningful experience, opportunities are dependent on team capacity. This means we may not be able to accommodate every request, but we will always do our best.

 

Internships

Ideal for: University students

Typical length: 4-8 weeks (flexible depending on availability)

Our internships offer a more hands-on experience, giving you the opportunity to develop practical skills and gain meaningful insight into the profession.

During your internship you will:

  • Work alongside experienced professionals
  • Support real client work
  • Develop technical and professional skills
  • Gain valuable experience to support your future career

Many of our interns go on to apply for trainee roles with us, so this could be your first step towards a long term career.
