We want to build a thriving business that is responsible and drives prosperity. Our sustainability framework and plan will allow us to see where we are and where we need to be, helping us to make improvements and learn as we go, together.

Our corporate social responsibility purpose.

As our business expands, we recognise the need to drive sustainable financial growth positively, shaping the future of our firm and the development of our people, our clients, and our communities.

We started our journey by recognising the key role that our business can play within our community and embracing this responsibility. We are aiming to embed sustainability as part of our culture of continuous improvement and in our leadership and decision-making. Although we are proud of what we have achieved so far, we understand that there is much more work to be done so and have created a sustainability plan to enable us to demonstrate and track our progress and hold ourselves accountable.

Our mission is to;

Encourage and enable sustainable business practices and behaviours across our business, and lead our team in line with our purpose, mission and values.
Practice environmental and social accountability by demonstrating our progress against our ESG goals in our positive impact plan.
Promote sustainable behaviours across our clients, our team and our wider community.

They are our guiding principles and we put them at the heart of everything we do. They direct our decisions, our actions and how we work together with each other, our clients, and our communities.

UNITED NATIONS 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS)

In 2015, 193 governments around the world came together and agreed on goals to make the world a better place by 2030. They all pledged to support 17 clearly defined goals that address the urgency of climate change, target poverty and fight inequality.

Sustainability is complex due to the interconnected nature of the challenges we face but given the weight of global support around the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, it makes sense for us to align our strategy and reporting with them to help, in some small way, support the focus on these difficult global issues that we all face.

Aligning our Values and our corporate social responsibility purpose, our plan will help us prioritise actions in line with the SDGs to help us contribute towards a greater purpose. We have focused on 5 goals that resonate with our culture and operation and where we feel we can contribute most, actively demonstrating positive change.

Our sustainability commitment:

We believe that sustainable growth is the only way to build a successful business and have a lasting positive impact on our environment and society.

This framework allows us to clearly and transparently demonstrate our environmental, social and governance (ESG) credentials, outlining the areas where we have committed to creating a more sustainable business.

We will report progress against our ESG commitments and our selected SDGs in our annual sustainability report.
